2025-2026  Raffle Rules and Regulations – Edwardsville Masonic Lodge #99

Thank you for considering or purchasing a Raffle Ticket to support the Edwardsville Masonic Lodge # 99 (EML99). The EML99 operates under the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) code 501(c)(10) fraternal society. EML99 is not a 501(c)(3) charitable tax exempt organization. Please seek the advice of your tax account regarding any tax matters.

Official Edwardsville Masonic Lodge # 99 Raffle Rules

I Timing & Purpose

  1. The Edwardsville Masonic Lodge # 99 referenced hereafter as “EML99”

  2. Raffle begins on October 15, 2025 at 4:00 PM and ends on or before June 6, 2026 at 8:00 PM.("Raffle Period").

  3. The raffle is licensed by Madison County, Illinois. The Raffle is void where prohibited by law.

  4. The raffle drawing will be on June 13, 2026 at approximately 12:00 PM (CST) at Piasa Armory, 625 Lewis and Clark Blvd, East Alton, IL 62024. Official drawing date and location are subject to change by the raffle manager or committee.

  5. All proceeds shall benefit local charities and programs of EML99.

  6. A maximum of 750 tickets will be sold. Tickets may be purchased by mail, https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/eml99-raffle-2025--2026 (zeffy.com) or from EML99 members. A list of all prize winners will be posted on the raffle website on or about June 15, 2026.

II Raffle Eligibility

  1. The Raffle is open to all persons age 18 and over who have U.S. or Canadian addresses.

  2. Please check your state rules on purchasing a raffle ticket. Raffles may be prohibited by law in Alabama, Kansas, Utah, and Hawaii.

  3. Members of the EML99, as well as their family members can purchase tickets and have a chance to win.

  4. The raffle manager and committee members are NOT eligible to participate, purchase tickets or win.

  5. Winners need not be present to win.

III Details of raffle entry and participation

  1. Raffle tickets ("Tickets") are twenty ($20) dollars each. The ticket purchase price does not qualify as a charitable contribution.

  2. All entries and their payments must be received by EML99 on or before no later than 8:00 PM (CST) on June 6, 2026.

  3. Payments may be by cash, personal check, bank check, money order or credit card.

  4. Checks should be made payable to "EML99 Raffle."

  5. Credit card purchases must provide the full name, billing address and telephone number of the cardholder and the credit card number and expiration date per the requested information on the online entry form.

  6. All payments must include phone number and email address.

  7. All user data, including credit card information, is encrypted on a secure page. No credit card information will be stored.

  8. Customer Information collected during a purchase will only be used to contact a winner of the raffle and internally for future raffles.

  9. No information will be sold or shared with any third-party websites or companies.

  10. Any Entry Form and payment received after 750 tickets have been sold, will be returned. No other refunds will be made, except as otherwise determined by EML99 Raffle Committee in its sole discretion.

  11. Subject to availability, individuals may purchase as many Tickets as they wish.

  12. EML99 reserves the right to disqualify false entries or entries suspected of being false, and any illegible, defective, incomplete or physically altered Entry Forms and entries that do not include valid or complete payment.

  13. EML99 is not responsible for printing errors in any Raffle-related material, or for lost, late, misdirected or non-delivered mail or corrupt internet messages, or any other failure to receive orders or deliver receipts prior to the drawing deadlines.

  14. All entries become the property of EML99 and will not be returned. EML99 reserves the right to withdraw this offer at any time.

IV Prizes

  1. Six prizes consisting of a gift card to Piasa Armory in the amount of $750.00 may be offered (see schedule below), each with an optional cash value choice of $500.00.

  2. Winners who choose a prize requiring legal documentation to own, operate or otherwise utilize the prize will be required to present such documentation as needed to Piasa Armory before taking ownership. This may include FOID Cards, Driver’s License, ID Cards and alike. All decisions and requirements regarding ownership of the prize by Piasa Armory are final.

  3. All eligibility is subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

  4. Failure to comply with prize ownership requirements will result in cash option being awarded.

  5. If a Prize Winner fails to respond, order or comply with the requirements of Piasa Armory within thirty (30) days of the winning notification, he or she will have been deemed to have elected to receive the Cash Prize.

  6. The Prizes are provided "as is" with no guarantees or warranties from EML99.

  7. A total of 750 tickets may be sold with a maximum of 6 prizes awarded. If ticket sales fall below the total number of 750 tickets the Raffle Committee at its sole discretion may issue prizes on the following schedule:

V Notification

  1. Winner(s) whose Ticket number(s) are drawn at the Prize Drawing will be deemed the winner of the prize for that particular selection ("Selected Winner"). Selected Winners will be notified by email, telephone and/or U.S. Mail using the information provided on the Entry Form.

  2. If any Selected Winner cannot be located or fails to return attempts to contact him or her within fifteen (15) days after EML99’s first attempt to contact him or her, such Selected Winner will be deemed to have forfeited his or her prize.

  3. Another Selected Winner or additional tickets will not be drawn.

  4. The prize may be forfeited if Selected Winner(s): cannot be reached or cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason.

  5. Winners grant permission for the use of their names, photographs/likenesses for advertising and promotion for this and similar promotions without compensation, unless prohibited by law.

VI Rules and Liabilities

The Raffle is subject to these Official Rules and shall not be changed by any oral statement made by any person or otherwise acting on behalf of EML99. By participating, ticket purchasers and winners agree to ALL the following:

  1. To be bound by these complete Official Rules and the decisions of EML99’s Raffle Manager and Committee shall be final and binding.

  2. To waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Raffle or these Official Rules, except where prohibited by law.

  3. By accepting a prize, Selected Winner agrees to release EML99, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, members, representatives and agents, and any person or entity associated with the production, judging, or administration of the Raffle (collectively, the "Releases") from and against any claims, damages, disability, attorneys' fees, and costs of litigation and settlement, as well as any liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from redemption, acceptance, possession, ownership, misuse or use of any prize or participation in any Raffle-related activity or participation in this Raffle.

  4. Except where prohibited by law, the Selected Winner's purchase of a Raffle Ticket and acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for EML99 to use said Selected Winner's name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice, and city and state address for promotional or advertising purposes in connection with this Raffle on a worldwide basis, and in all forms of media, now or hereafter known, in perpetuity, without review, permission or further compensation.

VII Taxes

  1. All Winners are responsible for all Federal, State and Local Taxes, if any, associated with Prize received.

  2. Taxes will be withheld if cash awards exceed IRS requirements. EML99’s tax advisor will issue IRS forms as recommended.

  3. Each ticket purchaser is advised to consult his or her own tax advisor(s) with respect to the tax liabilities that may arise from winning a prize in this Raffle.

  4. The ticket purchase price does not qualify as a charitable contribution.

VIII General Raffle Conditions

  1. EML99 reserves the right to disqualify any entrant it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Raffle or violating these Official Rules.

  2. EML99 reserves the right to cancel the Raffle should it suspect fraud or for reasons out of the control of EML99.

  3. Disputes regarding these Official Rules and/or this Raffle will be governed by the EML99 Raffle Manager and Committee, rules and regulations and the laws of the State of Illinois.

  4. Any Claim(s) or Controversy between any of the Raffle participants and EML99 arising out of or relating to the Raffle and or the Raffle Rules and Regulations shall be settled by binding arbitration administered in Madison County, Illinois by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. Any Judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. Caution should be taken for any attempt to deliberately damage or to undermine the legitimate operation of the Raffle. Any such attempts may be in violation of criminal and/or civil laws and will result in disqualification from participation in the Raffle. Should any attempt be made, EML99 reserves the right to seek remedies and damages, including all fees, such as attorney fees and court costs, to the fullest extent of the law, including criminal prosecution.

  5. A Raffle Entrant's sole and exclusive remedy for any claim against EML99 arising out of the sale of raffle tickets or the conduct of the Raffle shall be limited to the return of the purchase price paid for his or her raffle ticket(s).

  6. In no event shall EML99, its directors, officers, members, employees, agents or representatives be liable to any party for any loss or injury to earnings, profits or goodwill, or for any incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages of any person or entity whether arising in contract, tort or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
